the team of Directors Kut Production and its visionary producer Rajan Shahi celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great devotion and enthusiasm on the sets of their popular shows.

As the time came to bid adieu to Ganpati Bappa, the atmosphere was filled with emotions, blessings, and a deep sense of unity.
Rajan Shahi, one of the most respected names in the Indian television industry, is known for creating iconic shows such as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupama. Over the years, his production houses—Directors Kut Production, Shahi Production, and I Shahi Production—have not only entertained audiences but also nurtured a tradition of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with the entire cast and crew.
Speaking about this annual ritual, Rajan Shahi shared, “I’m thankful to Bappa for showering blessings on my shows. The very atmosphere changes with Bappa’s presence. It has become our tradition to welcome Ganpati every year, bringing positivity, unity, and a sense of belonging to the entire team. We treasure these moments and pray that Lord Ganesha continues to bless our shows and our audience.”
This year, their theme was giving voice to the voiceless, and Rajan is happy that their puja was complete. He said, “The beauty is that on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we had this cat baby sleeping there for 10 days. And on Anupama’s set, as always, Coffee (the dog on the set) was everywhere around God. So, Ishika and I feel so blessed, and so does the entire team. Everyone on both the sets feel equally blessed.”
“This baby cat took over one set of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. And on Anupama’s set, if you’ll notice, during Visarjan, baby dog Coffee was everywhere, and he sat with Bappa throughout. I think the love that we all have in the teams of Anupama and Yeh Rishta—whether it is the creative team, writing, direction, production, actors, art, sound, camera, or DOPs—every department loves stray babies. The theme on both sets was about supporting animals and creating a support system for strays. And I think this is a blessing we have received. Ganpati Bappa Morya,” he added.
From vibrant decorations to heartfelt prayers, the celebration brought together the entire team of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupamaa. Actors, technicians, and crew members all actively participated, offering prayers for success, happiness, and good health. While bidding farewell, many were seen with moist eyes, as the bond formed during the festival is truly special.
The visarjan was attended by several cast members and celebrities, including Rupali Ganguly, Shivam Khajuria, Adrija Roy, Alpana Buch, Alka Kaushal, Rahil Azam, Varun Kasturia, Sheersha Tiwari, Spreeha, Ishita Dixit, Zalak Desai, Milloni Kapadia, Manish Naggdev, Satya Tiwari, Jatin Suri, Mazher Sayyad, Rohit Purohit, Samriddhii Shukla, Shruti Ulfat, Anita Raaj, Sikander Kharbanda, Shivangi Joshi, Ruheen Ali, Urva Rumani, Shruti Rawat, Garvita Sadhwani, Rishabh Jaiswal, and Mohit Parmar, to name some.
Sharing her emotions, Rupali Ganguly expressed, “Ganpati always feels like family. I feel blessed to be part of DKP’s celebration every year.”
Though Deepa Shahi couldn’t attend in person, she sent her heartfelt blessings to the team. With such celebrations, Directors Kut Production continues to highlight not only its professional excellence but also its family-like bond with its team. Rajan Shahi, often hailed as a trendsetter who changed the face of Indian television, once again reminded everyone that festivals are about togetherness, gratitude, and spreading positivity.
