The Anti-Corruption Bureau, Maharashtra (ACB) recently arrested a traffic-police constable from the Dadar division,
identified as Vinayak Rathod (35), accused of demanding a bribe from a biker caught without a helmet. He reportedly replaced a legitimate fine of ₹10,500 with a bribe demand of ₹5,000; after negotiation the motorist paid ₹3,000 and the constable was caught.
