Durga Puja festivities have kickstarted in full swing and Bollywood is all set for the celebrations. Durga Puja has now become a global event following its inclusion in Unesco’s intangible cultural heritage list in 2021. The fervor and excitement can even be seen among celebrities as they are thronging to the Puja pandals to take part in the festivities.
Bollywood actress Kajol, who is a Bengali, is no exception. Every year, she celebrates the beautiful festival with her friends and family.
In a new video shared by paparazzi, Kajol can be seen at her family’s Puja pandal with her cousin, actress Rani Mukerji, on Maha Nabami. For the fourth day of Durga Puja festivities, Kajol wore a beautiful a beige silk sari and paired it with a heavily embroidered blouse. But the one whole stole the limelight was Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s son, Yug Devgn. Yug was seen distributing Puja bhog to those who were seated for the feast. Yug has been accompanying mom Kajol everyday since Day one of Durga Puja festivities. From distributing bhog to holding his mom when she lost balance and fell – Yug has been involved since the very first day. Taking to Instagram, Kajol wrote, “Third day . Shubho Navami. And it was an amazing day. My son served at the bhog and understood why I do it every year.. a newbie @aamandevgan served and felt the power of the puja. So many people that I love were there and so many happy feelings all over. The pujo has ended for everyone else but we still have a just our thing so that feels a little better .. there is a feeling of sadness mixed with elation that it was a successful year and now it’s at an end..”
Meanwhile, the Puja was attended by many Bollywood celebrities including Katrina Kaif, Sonam KApoor, Jackie Shroff, Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao and others.
