Mrunal Thakur looks stunning with Dulquer Salmaan in her South debut
Mrunal Thakur wowed us in the glimpse of her dream debut in the South ‘Sita Ramam’, which also stars Dulquer Salmaan and Rashmika Mandanna. Several timeless looks of the gorgeous actor as Sita unfurl in its first glimpse and the lyrical video of its latest song ‘Inthandham’. Ethereal is the theme of her mesmerising ensembles. The Love Sonia actor is seen donning a traditional get-up that has a vintage charm in the visual extravaganza that is her latest song.
Whenever the song arrives at the scenes of Mrunal, she appears angelic with her coy expressions and a bright smile. She emotes through her eyes and the love she has for Ram is unmissable. She will be seen sparking the kind of chemistry that only eternal love brings with Dulquer Salmaan, who’s on his way to becoming a pan-India superstar. Set in 1965, their upcoming romance drama chronicles the magical tale of Ram and Sita.
After solidifying her position as a bankable star in Hindi cinema, Thakur is all set to bring her presence and mettle with the best of the South. Last seen in Jersey, she joined the Vyjayanthi Movies production much to the delight of her fans and is now headed for the promotions of the film.
Talking about how relatable Sita is to her, Mrunal Thakur says, “Sita is somebody who is extremely gracious and someone who is empathetic, she is kind and humble. And I realised a lot about this empathetic side of the character. Not only that, Sita is extremely decisive, doesn’t wait for someone else to decide for her and is fiercely independent. She knows what she wants and she is immensely romantic and that’s exactly the way I am. So these are the few similarities I could tell you about Sita and my real-life persona.”
Presented by National Award-winning Vyjayanthi Movies & produced by C Aswani Dutt for Swapna Cinema, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, with cinematography by P S Vinod, music by Vishal Chandrasekhar & choreography by Brinda Master, Sita Ramam stars Dulquer Salmaan, Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur.
