Nine consecutive holidays for these schools: Check details

The exams necessitate temporary closures of certain centers,

resulting in school holidays on March 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, and 30. However, schools designated as holiday centers must resume operations on March 24, 31, April 7, 13, 14, and 21. In light of the intense sunlight, schools are advised to ensure adequate hydration facilities, collaborate with local authorities for the provision of buttermilk and ORS packets, and extend the Jagananna Gorumudda Scheme after school hours.

Despite ongoing classes, schools are considering early summer vacations due to anticipated high temperatures, possibly beginning on April 24, 2024, and extending until June 15, 2024, providing students with approximately 50 days of vacation. However, official confirmation from the Telugu states’ education department regarding summer vacations is pending.

Comparatively, last year’s vacations were shorter, with Telangana schools enjoying summer breaks from April 25 to June 11, and Andhra Pradesh schools from May 1 to June 11. Tenth-class students will also benefit from summer vacations lasting around 50 to 60 days following the conclusion of their exams.
