Big Update! Prithviraj Sukumaran finishes his final five-language dub for ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ ahead of its release
Only recently, the makers of ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ unveiled the long-awaited trailer of the magnum opus. The trailer received an overwhelming response from audiences, who were particularly impressed by Pan India star Prithviraj Sukumaran’s multilingual mastery. Essaying the role of Varada Raja Mannaar in the action thriller, the expectations from Prithviraj Sukumaran’s character arc have immensely soared after the trailer’s release.
Creating history in more ways than one, Prithviraj Sukumaran has dubbed himself for his character Varada in five different languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi for the film. Interestingly, as per the reports, he is the sole actor from the cast to perform his dubbing in all languages.
Ahead of the film’s grand release, Prithviraj Sukumaran has just revealed a major update to millions of his fans. In a heartwarming post, the actor informed that he has completed the final dubbing for ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ and it has been a great experience for him.
He wrote, “#Salaar Final dubbing corrections done. I have had the privilege of lending my own voice for all my characters across various languages I’ve worked in over the years. I have even dubbed for some of my characters in multiple languages. But to be dubbing for the same character, in the same film in 5 different languages is a first for me. Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and of course Malayalam. And what a film to do it for! Deva and Varadha will meet you in theatres across the world on the 22nd of December 2023! 🔥”
